Q: What is the difference between Winter Tires and snow chains?

Winter Tires and snow chains are different.

Ｗinter tires will already be equipped, and you can drive on snowy and icy roads without snow chains on top of them.

Snow chains can only be installed on top of normal tires, and you must set it yourself, which is difficult if you are not used to it.

There is no car rental company offering the snow chains option at present.

Please note that in case your snow chains break the car or cause an accident, any insurance is NOT applicable, you must pay all the compensation yourself.
